trying out journal skins

new promotion going on to try journal skins, so I'm going to give it a shot.

I have so many projects I want to start lately. I want to try making sculptures out of wax. I want to experiment and see how hard it would be to make wooden go bowls. There's a giant stump in my back yard that I told my dad not to destroy so I could make something out of it, but I don't have any ideas at the moment. For some reason, I decided it would be a good idea to start up the 100 poem challenge again...

Btw, if anybody plays go, I usually play online at kgs go server [link] It's a pretty good site. My name there is awesomeamy. They didn't have space for the g. Send me a message if you wanna play some time, I love to meet new players.

I think of art as three different things, and I like it for three different reasons. The first is that it can be a way to express yourself and get your feelings down on paper. The second is that it's about creating things, giving life to a piece of paper or a ball of clay. The third is that it's fun. It may not seem like much, but I think that's the most important thing. Art always comes out better if you like making it :)
